Ticket sales for the National Show this coming Saturday have closed, with the last one secured at 08:11 this morning. I said on Tuesday that we would advise how many tickets were unsold. But before explaining this, please may I remind you that we will provide colour coded paper wristbands when you give up your entry ticket at the Ticket Booths on entering the show. The wristband is what will provide access to the Atrium and Main Hall, so you’ll need to put it on before entering these areas.
If you have bought entry tickets to the morning session:
- 480 wristbands to the afternoon session of the show remain available. This means that up to 85% of you could attend the afternoon session. If you want to do this, please leave the hall promptly at or before 13:00 and as you leave, we’ll give you a wristband giving access to the afternoon session, until the capacity limit of the afternoon session is met.
- In addition, we will retain a further 50 wristbands to be offered to the first 50 current Association members who attend the AGM. The wristband will be provided as you leave the AGM.
If you have bought entry tickets to the afternoon session:
- 412 wristbands to the morning session of the show remain available. This means that up to 88% of you could attend the morning session. If you want to do this, please arrive as soon after 09:30 as you wish and we’ll give you a wristband providing immediate access to the morning session, until the capacity limit of the morning session is met.
To be fair to all Show visitors, this will be on a first come, first served basis and only as explained above.
We will still need to clear the Main Hall and Atrium between sessions, but the forecast is still dry so this will provide an opportunity to visit the catering outlets and chat with friends outside.
