We have booked 14 truly excellent layouts; in no particular order these are; Ridgmont from the Beds Area Group; very scenic, with three integrated dioramas, and Winner of Best Layout in Show 2023. Dow Bridge JunKtion, a G-Scale layout which has been built  using surplus materials and mostly second-hand track—hence the name ! It is more than 15 metres long with fiddle yards at both ends and features both analogue and digital operation. Phil Parker from Garden Rail will be building his popular table top  “Layout in a Day” as usual, now extending to 3 square metres. Gareth Jones and the gang will be presenting the Association Modular Group layout as usual, with new features and with a similar footprint as last year. We welcome back an old favourite, Dixon Green / Saed-y-Parc from Phil Thompson and the Yorkshire Area Group – featuring both live-steam and battery-powered locomotives controlled by radio; a clever and very flexible track design; many animated scenes; and the youngsters (under family supervision) can even have a go at driving a battery-electric locomotive or operating some of the features. Mwch Grumblyn is a dual 32 and 45mm gauge system from the Guildford Model Engineering Society, steam powered with some coal fired locomotives to enjoy. The Gauge1 MRA  East Anglia Group are bringing Anglia Roads, another old favourite, and a real crowd pleaser, again with some coal fired steam locos. St Gennys, presented by Andrew Neal, is a 32mm single-track layout set in a rural region of Eastern Europe, its footprint of 3m x 1.2m makes it perfectly suited for short wheelbase live steam and battery-powered locomotives. We welcome back the magnificent Gauge 3 Warton Road layout as described by Roger Salisbury in the November 2025 Garden Rail. Roz White will be bringing her portable 16mm micro shunting layout, The Yard, on which, you the public will be able to have a go at shunting her battery locos (children must be accompanied by family) !! And last but certainly not least, the popular 7/8ths Stately Manor from Chris Stockdale & Rob Bennett. As ever, our friends from the 16mm Military Narrow Gauge Modellers, the 7/8ths scale Modellers’ Group, and the IOM Railway Group, will all be exhibiting their static displays.
